Bottle Rocket night
Pack Meeting: Bottle Rocket
6:00 PM · Graystone Elementary School field
A bottle rocket is a plastic soda bottle turned into a rocket: add some water, pump in air, and the pressure sends it skyward when it releases. It is simple and very satisfying — Pack 274 did it last year and it was a lot of fun.

The pack will bring materials. Many families find it easier to build a soda-bottle rocket at home beforehand so launch night is all launching — helpful, not required.

A year with Pack 274
Most months include a pack meeting — usually with a project or activity like bottle rockets, holiday ornaments, or a STEM night — and a den meeting. Campouts, service projects, hikes, the Pinewood Derby, and other special activities fill out the program year. The calendar has every public date.
