Volunteer with Pack 274

Pack 274 is powered by parents. Every meeting, outing, service project, and campout happens because a family said yes to one piece of it.

Help comes in every size

Pack 274 is run entirely by volunteer parents โ€” there is no paid staff behind the scenes. Some roles are ongoing, like leading a den. Many more are bounded: one activity, one meal, one setup shift, or one pack meeting. You do not have to take on a year-long role to make a difference, and you do not need to commit to a leadership position to contribute.

The opportunities below are current examples, not an exhaustive list. If you have a skill or an idea that is not here, we would love to hear it.

Our biggest ongoing need

Lead a den

Den Leader (by grade/rank)

Dens are organized by rank, and the den leader guides that den's meetings and Adventures through the year. Ongoing, not a one-event job โ€” and you are not alone in it.

Official den leader resources are on our Resources page

Not ready for a big role?

These are one-activity, one-event jobs. Each one makes the pack stronger.
